O2Diesel
O2Diesel Corporation (O2Diesel) is a development-stage company. The Company has developed an additive product designed to enable distillate liquid transportation fuels to burn cleaner by facilitating the addition of ethanol as an oxygenate to these fuels. O2Diesel's core product, O2D05, is a fuel additive that can be made from soybean oil, other vegetable oils, or animal fats. The additive stabilizes the enables the blending of fuel grade ethanol with diesel fuel. Blending O2D05 with ethanol and various grades of diesel fuel in turn creates a clean burning fuel called O2Diesel. The Company's additive, O2D05, permits diesel fuel to be blended with ethanol to produce a fuel that is suited for use by centrally fueled truck and bus fleets, off-road diesel equipment and other diesel powered machinery. As of December 31, 2006, four customers in the United States and one customer in India were using the Company’s fuel either on a regular or on a trial basis. More from Reuters »
